Game goes quiet after Village Inn gets Called for an illegal bat

The Dbacks were back at it Thursday Night against Village Inn and their Louisville Hyper Z. Illegal players illegal bats and games being quit. Wow Never a dull Moment in the NSP League.

Before The Diamondbacks even got down to the field there was talk about all havoc breaking loose. One Bad Inning quit another game and only waited till the second inning to do it and The Machine calling for the combines to be disqualified for usage of a player that was not on their roster, not to mention Village Inn with their illegal bat.

The first inning was the one time that the game was close, 0-0 going into the second where the Dbacks would put 4 up and village inn would answer with 1, 4-1 into the third. Diamondbacks put up another 4. During the bottom half of the inning it was brought to the umpires attention that Village inn was using an illegal bat. The umpire was on top of it and was going to toss the player, But the Dbacks just asked for the bat to be removed from the game. Still this did not go over well with Village Inn who felt the Dbacks were complaining about nothing.

This really changed the tone of the game, the Dbacks continued to put runs on the scoreboard and with every run the tension grew until finally the umpire called the game with the Dbacks ahead by almost 20 runs.

Outfielder Jeff Holt was able to break out of his slump, just missed hitting for the cycle. While veteran catcher George Savaidis continued his triple streak.
