assignment DBACKS 17 VS Dead Last 25

Game #2 Quarter finals Vs Defending Champs
Do Or Die, The Durham Diamondbacks had their backs up against the wall in this one. Still they came out fighting not ready to call it a season just yet.
The first couple innings went by fast and The Dbacks were able to keep pace with last years champs. As the game went on the field got quiet, the Dbacks knew they needed to put up a few good innings. In the bottom of the 5th inning the diamondbacks tied it up.
taking the field the dreaded words were heard (last inning). with great defense The durham diamondbacks wouldn't allow a single run. They would run into the dugout with tons of confidence, certainly they could score just one run to win it in the bottom of the final inning.
Unfortunately the middle of the order went 1-2-3 and the game would have to go into extra innings. The Diamondbacks team were deflated, not able to stop the champs, letting in 9 runs in the top of the inning. Unable to make a come back, Just like that... the season was over. Dead Last would move on to face The Pack and the Durham Diamondbacks would go home.
On a positive note this Dbacks team never gave up, even being huge under dogs they fought till the end, taking Dead Last into extra innings.
