assignment DBACKS 22 VS Admirals 30

It was a back-and-forth game that saw some good things happen for the Dbacks. The offense scored some runs including two homers, and there was a highlight-reel play by shortstop Steveo. But in the end, it finished up where it has all too often lately with the Dbacks on the losing end.
Dbacks outfielder Jeff Holt was scratched from Mondays lineup and placed on the 14-day DL with a right thumb laceration.
Holt could not recall exactly what caused the injury, but said it might have been being jammed by a pitch or swinging for homers.
The Dbacks also recalled outfielder Sean Cheong and infielder Chris Crossley.
The Diamondbacks fall to a power house Admiral team 30-22.
And in other news Dbacks All-Star catcher Graham Crouse, was heard saying "I hate baseball" for a record breaking 43rd time this season.
