Coming off a couple terrible games the Visiting Diamondbacks try to get back into the win column. Before the game the D-BACKS received more bad news as righty pitcher Dave Vokey is no long a part of the organization. Quickly the Durham Diamondbacks acquired South Paw Gordon McHendry off waivers to try and help them get through he remainder of the season.

As the game started is was quick to see the D-BACKS were here to play with some great offensive plays that were certainly missing in the previous two games.

After the first three innings the D-BACKS were able to take a healthy lead over the A-TEAM 11-3.

For the next few innings the game stayed pretty quiet, both teams playing a great defensive game until the bottom of the final inning the A-team were able to make it far to close scoring 7 runs, but in the end could not complete the walk off come back.


It is worth mentioning Jessey Thompson hit a home run on errors which was scored a single and three errors, later changed to a double and two errors.
