The Durham Diamondbacks scored seven runs in each of the first four innings until the A-team called it quits. Marking the first time in D-backs franchise history that they scored maximum runs allowed in a game, scoring 28 runs and allowing just 12. The A-team were able to record just three outs in the entire game.

When he woke up on Wednesday morning, Liam McHendry had some nerves going that he hadn't ever experienced. His appetite wasn't really there, but the D-backs pitcher turned second baseman knew he needed to get out of his own head as he would be in his first ever big league game. Welcome to "The Show" McHendry, Liam would go an impressive 2-2 with a walk.

With some of the Diamondbacks power hitters signed out for the mid week doubleheader, Outfielders Thompson and Holt really stepped up hitting 2 💣's each and going 4-4. Looks like The D-backs bats are heating up just in time for round one of the playoffs.

Good defence and even better offence, this Diamondbacks team is going to be hard to stop.
