After last weeks slaughter in game #2 The Durham Diamondbacks Had momentum on their side going into this do or die game against The Father Dodgers. Unfortunately in a last minute lineup change (Chris Crossley had the sniffles) Graham Crouse who is semi retired had to lace em up in a hurry and get to the diamond before the first pitch.

With the chance of making it to the finals in back to back seasons and no Admirals in site the stadium was at near capacity with the D-Backs wives club in full cheer mode.

The Game started off slow for the D-backs only scoring 7 runs in the first three innings but as the game went on the bats would begin to heat🔥up.

In the top of the 1st The Dodgers would score three runs before the D-backs could record three outs. In the Diamondbacks half of the inning Starting pitcher Jessey Thompson would again help his cause by hitting a 💣to deep centre. The only one of the game for either team.

The D-backs continued to hold on playing strong defence waiting for their bats to wake up, until the 6th inning when the D-backs would take complete control of the game scoring 6 runs and not looking back.

fresh off a NSA Canada World Series championship win, James Davis would go 4-4


Don Cole made his long awaited return from the IL, while he wasn't overly busy at third base he made each play with ease.

"my knee held up well, unquestionably faster then Desilets"Cole said after the game.
