Fresh off the Allstar Break The Durham Diamondbacks continue their franchise best season to date against "The Machine". The Diamondbacks would not disappoint.The Dbacks put up multiple runs in six out of seven innings and only allowed the Machine to score runs in two out of seven innings, shutting the door in the final five innings.
It seems every time the Diamondbacks play the Machine they have more former/unsigned Dbacks then the last time. It was a nice surprise that the Machine would play the entire game and not quit. The Dbacks go on to win 29-8 and improve on their season record of 15-1.
With the second half under way the Diamondbacks will play much stronger competition with each week a little better until the final week of the regular season when they again get to play The Banana Slugs.
